Selena Gomez and One Direction star Niall Horan have sparked a lot of dating rumors lately. On top of being seen out in groups together multiple times in the past couple months, the two were also allegedly making out at a celebrity’s birthday party last weekend.
And fans speculated that maybe this is one of the reasons why Bieber has been posting so many throwback pictures of he and Selena, in an attempt to win her back?
But, at last, Selena has set the record straight.
In a brief interview with Entertainment Tonight, the singer was asked about her possibly dating Niall, to which she responded, “Oh my god! No. I love him, I always have. He’s amazing.”
In the interview she also addressed the incident where someone accused her of lip-syncing while performing at the Victorias Secret Fashion Show earlier in the week, to which she replied, “Yes, I f*cking sing live.”
“I just felt like for me, I am in a place where it is my right to say something and defend myself, because I’m always kind, I’m always nice,” Selena said. “Every now and then I deserve to say what I feel.”
So, there you have it.
Though, to be honest, even if the two stars were dating, or hooking up, they probably wouldn’t admit it this early. And God knows Selena wouldn’t be the first one to shut down dating rumors only to have them be confirmed weeks later.
But, for now, fans will just have to take her word for it.
