I don’t know if you’ve heard, but having children is quite a production. Besides the whole pregnancy thing for the better part of a year, kids require your attention for – Mom? How long have I been annoying you? – yeah, 25-plus years and forget about ever getting to take that vacation to Hawaii with little ones running around.
Pretty much I’m saying that it’s not for everyone.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi have been together for a while, so naturally friends and fans want to know if they plan on expanding their family. Well, the duo got tired of everyone’s questions, so they’ve come up with a solution.
DeGeneres revealed on her show Thursday that they officially have a nine-week-old “kid,” so everyone can back off now.
“I have not talked about this yet, but we have a new puppy. Portia and I got a puppy and his name is Kid so now we have a kid. Yep. I mean, he is absolutely adorable,” DeGeneres said while sharing photos of her new pup.

Kid joins fur siblings Augie and Wolf, and like any youngster, he’s keeping his parents up all hours of the night.
And he’s a total cutie.
