Legislation is a funny thing. You can ban carrying ice cream in your back pocket in both Alabama and Kentucky, but for some reason you can still buy fireworks in various states and blow your own hand off. Yay, America!
Of course, like many other things that occur in the United States, this legislative ridiculousness doesn’t stop at bizarre laws in Alabama and Kentucky. There are innumerous things and activities that are legal in this country that you wouldn’t even dream of being allowed. Honestly? It’s a bit terrifying learning about what you can get away with in the United States. In fact, you might be bashing in your local politician’s front door after reading this article in an attempt to make things such as owning a flamethrower illegal to the common person.
There is no reason why you or your neighbor should own a flamethrower. Absolutely none.
