‘Orange is the New Black’ Season 4 Date Officially Announced

Even though you have been preoccupied binge-watching recently added shows on Netflix, such as Making a Murderer, we know you certainly didn’t forget your all-time favorite, Orange is the New Black.

It can get pretty painful having to wait almost a full year in between seasons of this show, especially when you devour all the episodes within 48 hours.

But, good news! Netflix has officially announced that viewers can expect the 4th season of OITNB to be dropped in their queue on Friday, June 17, at 12:01 a.m. The announcement was made today at the 2016 Winter TCA Press Tour.

Netflix also announced that the second season of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will be released on Friday, April 15, at 12:01 a.m.

A few months ago, we reported that Laura Prepon might have given away a little spoiler about the upcoming season from an Instagram she pointed. (If you hate spoilers, we recommend not reading it, although it isn’t too shocking.) As you may remember, last season ended with Prepon’s character, Alex Vause, in quite the scary situation with a drug dealer who was at the Litchfield prison as a disguised guard. The scene ended with a cliffhanger that is making us even more anxious to see what the new season will have in store.

And, though it isn’t much, a teaser video has been released for Season 4 of OITNB.

It doesn’t tell you too much, but it will definitely get you excited for June (which, we know, seems like forever away).
