WATCH: Adam Driver’s Best Moments Hosting SNL

Last night actor Adam Driver was the host of Saturday Night Live for the first time ever.

Unless you actually follow his career, seeing he was this week’s chosen host might seem a bit odd, since he is most often known for his role in HBO GIRLS. Don’t get me wrong. His character is absolutely HILARIOUS in that role, but there are also some darker undertones to him. The 32-year-old has also starred in a lot of hit movies recently, including This Is Where I Leave You and While We’re Young.

Oh, and did I mention he also starred in Star Wars: The Force Awakens as villain Kylo Ren.

(Fun Fact: Driver was also a marine before becoming an actor.)

One of the best sketches of the night was when Driver and Vanessa Bayer took a stab at celebrities who win awards and ask their kids to go to bed during their speeches. Their kids were played by Kyle Mooney and Kate McKinnon who, as always, nailed it.
