If you’re going to make a joke about Amy Schumer, it better be a good one. The comedian just won a Critics’ Choice Award for Best Comedy Actress in her flawless film Trainwreck, so we can all agree that she knows a thing or two about funny.
A 17-year-old film critic who was in attendance tried to make a joke about “spending the night” with Schumer after meeting her at the awards show. In a tweet that has been deleted, Jackson Murphy wrote, ”Spent the night with @amyschumer. Certainly not the first guy to write that.”
It didn’t go over as planned.
Amy responded to the slut shaming joke by saying, “I get it. Cause I’m a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad.”
@LCJReviews @jondaly I get it. Cause I'm a whore? Glad I took a photo with you. Hi to your dad.

Murphy realized he was in the wrong and apologized…twice.
@amyschumer I truly apologize. Thought you'd like the joke. I should leave the comedy to you! Thanks for the photo. Glad you won last night!

Poor kid.
Being the class act Schumer is, she let Murphy know that it was water under the bridge.
@LCJReviews that's really okay honey. I just remember thinking you and your dad were sweet and it was a bummer to read that

We have a feeling he’ll leave the jokes to Amy from now on.
