‘We All Need The D’ Public Health Campaign Is Pure Gold

For those of you who haven’t brushed up on your Urban Dictionary terms recently, “The D” is slang for a dude’s dick. So it’s no wonder the Internet is having a field day over this Canadian public health campaign whose tag line is, “We all need the D.” 😂

Of course, they’re referring to vitamin D, but we Americans can’t help but act like immature schoolchildren. Forgive us.

According to Yukon News, a spokesperson for the Department of Health and Social Services said they knew what “the D” referred to before using it in the ads, which they have since taken down.

“We knew it was an innuendo for sex,” said Pat Living. “We did not realize that it was as crude as it is now being purported to be.”

Sureeeee. They knew exactly what they were doing, and it clearly worked. Do you think Yukon Health and Social Services would have gotten this much publicity otherwise? They’re a bunch of geniuses, and I even feel encouraged to take my vitamins and feel healthy AF.

Well done, Canada. You’re not just any country, you’re a cool country.
