You’ll Want To Give This Cross-Eyed Cat That Looks Worried All The Time A Hug

Being grumpy? So last year (sorry Grumpy Cat and Grumpy Puppy). In 2016, the emotional animal trend will be Worried Cat, as displayed by Bum, a crossed-eyed kitty eyes who is almost too precious for words.

Meet Bum, the kitty who looks like he just dropped his iPhone through a grate in the street…all the time.

Luckily, his concerned expression isn’t his “super silly and happy” personality, according to owner Courtney Morman.

“He just has perpetually crossed eyes,” Morman, 24, said. “His eyes and lids are also shaped a little funny, but other than that, he’s totally fine. He’s been seen by a vet and nothing is wrong with him.”

Bum, named for Morman’s fave baseball player Madison Bumgarner, was rescued last year from the streets of San Diego along with his siblings. In just four days since his Instagram page went up, he’s gained almost 6,000 followers and is well on his way to becoming the next Internet sensation. Our guess? He’s just so damn relatable.

When you can’t remember if you left your flat iron on? Worried Cat.

When you realize it’s your mom’s birthday tomorrow and you still don’t have a gift? Worried Cat.

When you give the bouncer your real ID instead of your fake? Worried Cat.

Check out adorable photos of Bum the cross-eyed cat below.
