If you’re anything like me, you know absolutely zero about football. You observe quietly your friends and family who get extremely fired up about their team winning or incredibly downtrodden when their team loses. They scream about bad calls, faulty referees and incompetent players; they have weird rituals when it comes to game day. You’ve learned when to cheer and when to groan loudly.
Again, if you’re anything like me, you’re not watching Super Bowl 50 for the game – you’re watching it for the spectacular commercial breaks. In fact, you probably don’t know who is even playing in the game this year.
Guess what? That’s fine.
You should take some time familiarize yourself with some of the commercials you’ll be watching this Sunday. While these aren’t all of the commercials that will be broadcasted during Super Bowl 50 (we won’t have all of those until game day), it’s to have an idea about what you’re going to be seeing during the Big Game.
And if you’re not like me, knowing what’s going on in the commercials beforehand will allow you to focus all of your attention on the game and, of course, the food.
