Adidas Was Quick To Shut Down Homophobic Commenters On Instagram

It’s 2016 and this is seriously still an issue?!

Adidas celebrated Valentine’s Day with a photo of the feet and legs half of a same-sex couple wearing matching sneaks, one on tip toes like they’re sharing a smooch or hug.

The caption read, “The love you take is equal to the love you make.”

While some thought the photo was adorable, others weren’t too keen about the gay couple depicted.

“Shame on you Adidas!” one person wrote. “I’m going to Nike now.”

Adios, buddy. Adidas was quick to comment back to homophobic haters who claimed Valentine’s Day was about celebrating straight couples and straight couples only.

If you listen closely, you can hear the world uniting for a slow clap.

You go, Adidas!
