Watch Shia LaBeouf Ride An Elevator For 24 Hours Straight Because Art

It looks like Shia LaBeouf has recovered from his three-day Shia LaBeouf movie watching marathon from November and is currently performing his newest performance art project: Elevate.

Shia LaBeouf, Nastja Säde Rönkkö, and Luke Turner are spending 24 hours riding up and down in an elevator at EC English Oxford in Gloucester Green for the sake of art. And just like the movies, it is on live stream.

While most of the time you just hear what Shia and whoever else accompanies him in the elevator talk about and can’t see anything but the outside of the elevator doors, you do get a glimpse as people come in and out of the elevator. Which means we won’t get to see Shia’s sleepy face, crying face, and excited face this time around. Bummer.

I checked it out for longer than I’ll admit, and there’s been a steady stream of 4,000 – 6,000 viewers to witness strangers ask the actor their most burning questions or tell their best jokes. It’s all kinds of awkward.

Anyway, check it out below. It’s probably more excited than whatever your professor is lecturing about.
