

Forbes recently ranked the top schools in the country by state, and considering that in-state tuition will save you a TON when deciding where you want to go, this list could come in serious handy.
In fact, according to the annual American Freshman: National Norms survey, 57% of students choose schools within 100 miles or less from their home, and about three-quarters of U.S. college kids attend in-state schools.
Naturally my alma mater, Fairleigh Dickinson University is the top school in New Jersey…jk; I’m sure no one even knows what that is. Somehow a little known school called Princeton University snuck into that spot. Humph.
