If you ever feel slightly ashamed of your obsession with your favorite guilty pleasure, just remember that you’re not alone. Everyone from Amy Schumer to Anna Kendrick to Ryan Rednolds is just as obsessed with The Bachelor are you are. And now we have another celebrity fan admitting his love for the reality show that we all wish we could stop loving to hate: New Kids On The Block singer Donnie Wahlberg.

Now, it’s no secret that this boy bander has a soft spot for The Bach. Donnie regularly tweets his thoughts on Ben Higgins and his ladies and has even let wife Jenny McCarthy post hilarious videos of him tuning into the show. But he’s not just embracing his love for the show, he’s preaching about his “addiction” in an essay for Chicago Sun Times Splash section.

“This has to be some kind of karmic retribution. A turning of the tables for all of those husbands out there who had to put up with their wives wanting to go see the New Kids on The Block reunion concerts,” he writes. “Sweet revenge for the nice-guy hubbies who had to put up with their wives talking about how hunky Jordan was, cute Joey still is or how much of a ‘bad boy’ Donnie was, during his Public Enemy T-shirt-wearing rebellious phase.”

He jokes that he’s “being punished” for what his (and other) boy bands did to some men’s nieces’ and daughters’ hearts. “It seems like for every tear shed over Nick, Howie, Brian, Kevin and AJ, I’ve shed an equal amount of tears over Jubilee, Olivia, Andi, Kaitlyn and Caila,” he says.
