It’s not like Kanye West needs to try very hard to draw a crowd.
The rapper-turned-fashion designer proved this once again during the grand opening of his pop-up shop, Pablo, on Friday. Police officers had to eventually close an entire New York City block due to the overwhelming turnout of people who had arrived to West’s temporary fixture in the SoHo district.
West’s apparel is so popular, customers were restricted to purchasing only two items each. Despite West’s short notice announcement about the opening of Pablo, a line of fans were already lined up waiting around the block when the shop opened for business. The store is only going to be open for two days at its SoHo location.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the prices for West’s fashion line fluctuated between $35 and $400. The line included long-sleeved shirts, jean jackets and t-shirts featuring images of West’s late mother, Donda West.
The Life Of Pablo, West’s new album, was the soundtrack inside of the store.
Daily Mail/Getty Images.Kanye, however, was in Los Angeles, California, the day of Pablo’s grand opening.
I wonder if Kanye West will still need Mark Zuckerberg to give him millions of dollars in order to “bring more beautiful ideas to the world.” $400 for a piece of clothing? Give me a break.
