Adorable Baby With ‘Anchorman’ Hair Becomes An Internet Star

When Isabelle Kaplan was born, it wasn’t her deep blue eyes, her piercing cry or even her weight (eight pounds and 13 ounces) that struck her parents. The first thing that anyone wanted to talk about was her full head of hair.

“Izzie,” as she is called affectionately by her parents, Dave and Mackenzie Kaplan of Redwood City, California, was born on January 8, 2016, with a full head of brown hair. The three-month old has a head of hair that rivals the heads of Charles Bronson, Mario Lopez and even Ron Burgundy, the perfectly-styled character played by Will Ferrell in Anchorman.

Isabelle’s face has been Photoshopped onto everything from photos of Mark Wahlberg, Harry Potter and Wolverine to the cherubs in Raphael’s painting, “Madonna of San Sisto.”

CNN.

Her father, Dave Kaplan, 34, said, “Wherever we go, it’s the first thing people notice. They say, ‘Wow, would you look at that hair!'”

Kaplan works as a web developer and was also born with a full head of hair. He continued speaking about Isabelle’s hair, stating that when she was born:

“We were expecting to see a bald head or perhaps a little fluff. When she came out with a hair helmet, we couldn’t believe it. And now, compared to her newborn photos, she really has a full head of hair. It’s grown out quite a bit.”

Isabelle, who now weighs 12 pounds, including the hair, has not yet received any shampoo commercial offers. That’s a travesty – someone jump on this opportunity, quick!

I would buy so much shampoo if it was sold by a face like that!
