Just imagine. You’re checking your phone and see you have a notification on Twitter…it’s from Kim Kardashian. Whether you’re a fan or loathe the Kardashian Klan, you know you’d freak out.
Turns out that’s exactly what keeps happening to a 17-year-old boy from Turkey.
See, the young Mert Alas just happens to share the same name as one of Kim’s friends and fave photographers, 45-year-old Mert Alas.
While the handle @mertalas belongs to her photographer friend on Instagram, it belongs to the 17 year old on Twitter. So when Kim shares the pic to both social media sites, the wrong Mert is tagged.

Believe it or not, Kim isn’t the only celeb to make this mistake. Miley Cyrus did the same exact thing back in December 2014 when sharing a photo.

Now the Mert without famous friends IRL has gained over 1,700 followers on Twitter for absolutely no reason except that Kim K tagged the wrong fella. He seems to love it, so keep tagging away, Kim.
