Any girl would be happy to be in the company of Melissa McCarthy, Adele, and Ashley Graham, but Amy Schumer isn’t thrilled about it because it’s sending the wrong message about body image.

Glamour recently released their first ever plus-size issue featuring the stunning Ashley Graham on the cover. While we should all be thrilled about this step forward in fashion, there was one celeb who felt labeling herself as plus-size was totally misleading.

“I think there’s nothing wrong with being plus size. Beautiful healthy women,”Amy captioned the shot of her name on the magazine cover. “Plus size is considered size 16 in America. I go between a size 6 and an 8. @glamourmag put me in their plus size only issue without asking or letting me know and it doesn’t feel right to me. Young girls seeing my body type thinking that is plus size? What are your thoughts? Mine are not cool glamour not glamourous.”

Amy is totally right. Ashley Graham is a size 16, and Adele has reported herself to be about a 14 a few years ago. Size 6 is completely average.

Glamour’s editor-in-chief, Cindi Leive, responded on Twitter.

Let’s hope this is all squashed and we don’t judge women on their size ever.
