This is taking the hatred of pants and clothing in general to a whole new level.
The Bunyadi, a limited-run restaurant, is opening in London this June for restaurant patrons who are looking for something new.
“Enter a secret Pangea-like world,” the restaurant’s website reads, “free from phones, electric lights and even clothing (optional) and revisit the beginning where everything was fresh, free and unadulterated from the trappings of modern life.”
The description of the Bunyadi sounds like a college student’s first kiss with Thesaurus.com.
If you’re squeamish about the attending the restaurant, don’t worry: the clothed and naked sections of the restaurant will be segregated. The Bunyadi will additionally provide a changing room for those who decide to bare it all for dinner time.
The Bunyadi gets its name from a Hindu term that means “fundamental, base or natural.” The restaurant is yet another idea from Lollipop, the same firm that recently opened a Breaking Bad-themed cocktail bar called ABQ London.
“We have worked very hard to design a space where everything patrons interact with is bare and naked,” Seb Lyall, the founder of Lollipop, told the International Business Times. “The use of natural bamboo partitions and candlelight has enabled to us to make the restaurant discreet, whilst adhering to the ethos behind it.”
However, what it is not entirely clear is the food that the Bunyadi will serve. Allegedly, everything will be cooked over a wood fire, which keeps with the restaurant’s theme, and both non-vegan and vegan menus will be offered.
