Troian made her acting debut in 1988 when she only 3 years old in the film Last Rite. Her father, Donald P. Bellisario, wrote and directed the movie. Through the years, Troian guest starred in the television series her father produced such as NCIS, Quantum Leap, JAG, First Monday, Tequila and Bonfetti, and First Monday.

In 1998, Troian starred in the film Billboard Dad alongside the Olsen twins, Mary-Kate and Ashley. The three were actually good friends in real life. Troian continued branching out into independent roles in short films like Intersect, Archer House, Before the Cabin Burned Down, and Unspoken.

2009 – 2013

In 2009, Troian became part of the Pretty Little Liars family when she was cast as the quirky and ambitious Spencer Hastings. The actress continues to portray the character today as an aspiring Washington, D.C. politician. While her salary per episode in unknown, her costar Lucy Hale makes a whooping $42,000 per episode of the show. We can assume Troian makes a similar amount as a fellow lead actress of the show.

From 2010 on, Troian has been part of a healthy mix of films. She has played characters in both short films and full length. She won two awards for her leading role in Consent. During the fall of 2011, the actress decided to write and be executive producer for her own short film titled Exiles. She raised over $16,000 in funds through Kickstarter in only a month. It was completed in 2012 and shown in 2013.

Exiles is a different take on the famous Shakespeare play Romeo and Juliet. The movie explores an alternative scenario if the two crossed lovers had escaped together from Verona and lived in exile. You can watch it on Vimeo.

Also in 2012, Troian was cast in the WIGS web series alongside Jessica Beals. She won the award of Best Performance by an Actress for portraying Lauren. Troian has continued doing web series like Pa-gents with Chris Pine and Instagram Intervention with Troian Bellisario.

Troian was on a roll with writing, producing, and acting with her next project, Feed. She plays the fraternal twin of actor Tom Felton, from the Harry Potter films, in the indie drama. Troian was also cast as the leading role in the remake of Martyrs, a French-Canadian horror thriller. She kept a presence in short films as well.

Adams. She also reunited with Lucy Hale, a costar from Pretty Little Liars.
