Are we getting the message yet? Don’t Photoshop celebrities.

After stars like Lena Dunham and Kerry Washington have called out magazines for unwanted (and unnecessary) body editing, Meghan Trainor pulled down her new music video for the song “Me Too” yesterday saying, “They Photoshopped the crap out of me.”

The “All About That Bass” singer took to Snapchat a few hours later with an explanation for pulling the vid.

“My waist is not that teeny,” she told fans. “I didn’t approve that video and it went out for the world, so I’m embarrassed.”

Later on Monday night, Meghan appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen. She said she pulled the video after realizing it wasn’t edited by fans. “I was so upset because I thought the fans were doing it online and then I was like, ‘Oh my god, it’s my video.’ So I called the Gods of Vevo and they took it down,” she said.

Luckily, a new video sans retouch should be out today. We’ll keep you updated!
