It looks like the Revival Tour is going to be the must-see show of the summer, but Selena Gomez won’t be running out of breath on stage or busting out of her teeny tiny outfits. Not that Selena ever really slacked on her gym sessions, but the 23-year-old singer revealed to Vogue that she spent that past six weeks getting her body into peak performance shape.
“I’ve never really had a personal trainer, but I started working with Amy [Rosoff Davis] last year. She’s incredible. I met her at Ballet Bodies in L.A., and we have a really fun friendship,” Selena says. “At the moment, I’m training every day to build my stamina up for the tour. But don’t get me wrong—it was not like this before the tour.”
Selena shares that once tour rehearsals were underway, she was doing Pilates, SoulCycle, and yoga.
“Basically, I wanted to mix things up because I get bored easily. I just try to keep it fresh,” she explains.
Another secret to keep her energy up? Good old H2O.
“I always have water, tons of water,” Selena says. “It’s even in my bathroom because I used to be so bad at drinking water and I want to stay hydrated.”
Whatever she’s doing, it’s definitely working.
