Amy Schumer took to Instagram to address her haters after she was body shamed. Schumer became a target after photos surfaced of her vacation with her boyfriend Ben Hanisch- and she looks fab, TBH. The comedian can be seen wearing a black one-piece bathing suit while taking a dip in the cooling water…looking like a real human.
Internet trolls took this image as an invitation to begin criticizing Schumer’s beach bod, but the funny lady had the last word. Schumer directly addressed the negativity on Instagram saying, “I mean to write ‘good morning trolls!’ I hope you find some joy in your lives today in a human interaction and not just in writing unkind things to a stranger you’ve never met who triggers something in you that makes you feel powerless and alone.”

Schumer isn’t someone to hold back and gave the haters what they deserved. I mean seriously, when will people stop sucking? She clearly knows their negative comments are fueled by their own insecurities. Schumer empowered herself by owning her beautiful shape saying, “This is how I look. I feel happy. I think I look strong and healthy.”
This isn’t the first time she has openly spoken about her body image being affected by the entertainment industry and it probably won’t be her last. But we’re happy she is standing up for herself. Amy Schumer, keep looking fabulous girlfriend.
