Amber Heard’s Texts From 2014 Allege A History Of Assaults By Johnny Depp

A text exchange between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s assistant, Stephen Deuters, suggests a history of abuse in the couple’s relationship. This would date the abuse to before their marriage.

The text messages are from May 2014, four months after Depp and Heard’s engagement. They appear to be a conversation between Heard and Deuters. In the exchange, Heard and Deuters discuss an alleged incident where Depp kicked Heard. Heard also allegedly says that the incident was not the first time that Depp had acted violently toward her.

“He’s incredibly apologetic and knows that he has done wrong,” reads a text linked to Deuters. “He wants to get better now.”

“Yes but I don’t know how to be around him after what he did to me yesterday. I don’t know if I can stay with him,” Heard reportedly replied.

“Obviously he has no idea what he did or the text that he did it. If someone was truly honest with him about how bad it really was, he’d be appalled,” she allegedly continues.

“I’m sad that he doesn’t have a better way to really know the severity of his actions yesterday. Unfortunately for me, I remember in full detail everything that happened.”
