Channing Tatum Has Enrolled At Harvard Business School

It turns out that Channing Tatum has beauty and brains. The Magic Mike star is officially enrolled as a student at Harvard Business School.

According to Harvard’s Facebook page, Channing Tatum has signed up for one of the university’s Executive Education courses this month. Some of his fellow classmates? The legendary L.L. Cool J and NBA superstars, Pau Gasol and Chris Paul.

Tatum attended his first class this past Tuesday.

The course Tatum chose is part of the school’s Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports program and is taught by Professor Anita Elberse. According to Harvard Business School’s Facebook page, Tatum was their first ever “live case.”

Participants in the class “shared ideas [with Channing] to help him innovate in the film industry.” The actor even helped lead a discussion on how dance films have impacted Hollywood.

Interested in what the class is about? You can read the course’s official description from Harvard’s website here.

In the business of entertainment, digital technologies are dramatically disrupting the way products are developed, marketed, and distributed. As a result of this paradigm shift, entertainment executives and content producers are challenged to effectively allocate limited resources—both human and financial—across a seemingly infinite array of fragmented channels in order to survive. With an increasing number of musicians, athletes, stars, and authors promoting their brands via a wide range of online and offline channels, intermediaries must reinvent their strategies to compete effectively. This innovative new program provides proven approaches for marketing creative products and portfolios, managing and marketing talent, determining when to make smaller versus blockbuster bets, and identifying and capitalizing on market disruptions.

So Tatum is now gorgeous, talented, funny and a student at freakin’ Harvard University. How could you not love the man?
