It all began back in the day with the good ole’ Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.  The place where stars are born, and where 13-year-olds like Aguilera can start collecting cash. Looking back now, there are numerous celebrities who’s bank accounts all began with the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

In 1998, Aguilera landed the theme song “Reflection” in the movie Mulan. This song really put Aguilera on the map as it land number 19 on the U.S. Billboard Adult Contemporary Chart. “Reflection” was even nominated for a Golden Globe as “Best Original Song.” Although Aguilera didn’t win the Golden Globe, it most certainly was the beginning of her extremely profitable career.

From 2006-2008 Aguilera went on an international tour called “Back to Basics;” it had 81 stops. The tour is recorded to be one of the largest grossing tours of 2007 financially, gathering a whooping $48.1 million. In 2007, Forbes also reported Aguilera to be the 19th richest woman in entertainment with a net worth of $60 million.


2010-2016

In 2010 Aguilera took her fame and fortune to another level when she starred in the film Burlesque. The film grossed $120 million including DVD sales. Then in 2011 she decided to make a guest appearance on a hit track by Maroon 5 called “Moves Like Jagger” which sold 7 million copies.

Also in 2011, Aguilera joined the television show, The Voice. She has since been a judge and vocal coach for the show for seasons one-three, five, eight and 10. She is the most recent judge to have a contestant win The Voice.
