Apparently dating a member of the royal family isn’t as easy as it looks. You might even be able to describe it as a royal pain.

Chelsy Davy, who was courting Prince Harry for nearly seven years, described the experience as “scary.” It has nothing to do with Harry himself, per se. What Davy didn’t care for, however, was all the scrutiny that came with courting someone in the public eye.
“It was so crazy and uncomfortable. I found it very difficult when it was bad. I couldn’t cope,” the Zimbabwe-born jewelry designer said.
Davy started dating Prince Harry back in 2004 after they had met in Africa. She said, “I was trying to be a normal kid and it was horrible.”
When Chelsey and Prince Harry split for good back in 2010, Davy returned back to Zimbabwe to escape the media scrutiny and general public nastiness. She now claims that her life is “calm” and believes that she and Prince Harry – despite all of the drama – will always be friends.
