When you first heard about America’s Next Top Model‘s return to television, you were likely overjoyed. However, the show that you loved and worshiped when you were younger will not be the one you remember in the rebooted season.
Tyra Banks will not be hosting the show.
Unfortunately, none of the original team, J. Alexander and the likes, will be returning to the reboot. The new show will introduce Rita Ora as the new host, accompanied by a fresh panel of judges. The panel will include model Ashley Graham, stylist Law Roach and Paper creative chief officer, Drew Elliot.
The upcoming season, which airs on VH1, will take a modern spin on the show with a pop culture focus. This means that contestants will be competing in pop culture-oriented challenges each week.
“The approach I wanted to have as a host and judge to the girls is that my career stands for at this moment in time,” Ora told USA Today, “which is being a businesswoman and being able to do multiple things at the same time, whether it’s music or shooting [magazine covers] and being in movies and designing clothes.”
It has not been officially announced when the show will premiere, but Ora has teased that the reboot is still in production on social media.
