The social media battle started when Bieber threatened to make his Instagram account private if commenters didn’t stop hating on his current fling, Sofia Richie.”I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys don’t stop the hate,” he wrote. “This is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

Instead of letting it go, Gomez fired back with, “Funny how the ones that cheated multiple times, are pointing the finger at the ones that were forgiving and supportive, no wonder fans are mad. Sad. All love.”
That’s what Bieber dropped a bombshell. “I cheated.. oh I forgot about You and Zayn?”
In response to Bieber’s initial statement, Gomez posted a fan collage on her Instagram, with the caption “You matter most. Thank you letting [sic] me do what I love every day.”
