Charlie Puth Told a Fan to Die on Twitter, So Tweeters Took Matters Into Their Own Hands

Charlie Puth learned the hard way to never mess with Twitter. The “We Don’t Talk Anymore” singer is reportedly over social media because of his own douchebaggery. A screenshot of a DM message between Puth and a female fan has started to circulate online, with Puth telling the girlΒ to “die.” He then blocked her from his page.

If you ever feel stupid just remember that Charlie Puth told a girl to die and blocked her #CharliePuthIsOverParty

Now #CharliePuthIsOverParty is trending on Twitter, with fans and haters posting their thoughts on the bizarre message. What started it? Who’s the fan? WTF happened here? No one knows for sure, but one tweeter summed up the controversy perfectly:Β “THE FACT THAT IVE BEEN TO MORE PARTIES ON TWITTER THAN IN REAL LIFE! CharliePuthIsOverParty.”

Summer 2016 is officially the Summer of the Over Party.

Friend: "What did you do this summer?"
Me: "I've been to a lot of parties" #CharliePuthIsOverParty

#CharliePuthIsOverParty when you were leaving a party but there's another one starting and you know it's more drama

Granted, if there’s anything we’ve learned from reality TV, it’s that drama feeds the machine. And honestly, wouldn’t you rather attend an “Over Party” than none at all? Don’t we all hate being bored?!

Charlie Puth has yet to comment on the message, but we have a feeling he’s not going to have a choice — Twitter can be reaalllyyy brutal. Good luck!
