Tyra Banks can literally do anything. The model, television personality, Harvard graduate, author and businesswoman will be joining the faculty at Stanford University’s business school as a guest lecturer in this coming spring.
The course, which will run for two weeks next May, is all about building your personal brand. It will be called “Project You: Building And Extending Your Personal Brand” and will be co-run by Banks and faculty member and media expert Allison Kluger.
Unfortunately, Banks has already revealed that the course will not be all fun and games. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Banks said, “If I see somebody not paying attention, I’m gonna call on them.”
However, she did say that she will make some exceptions for phone usage. Banks said that her students are free to tweet anything she says – which is a lot more lenient than what your college professors allow in the classroom.
I don’t even want to think about what the wait-list to get into this course will look like. May the odds be ever in your favor, Stanford University business students.
