This New York Beer Garden is Hosting a Happy Hour With Dogs

If we had our way, we’d be spending our days throwing back mojitos, rolling around with puppies, and hanging out with Ryan Gosling. If you live in New York City (or anywhere even remotely close), you now have the opportunity to make your dreams come true. Sadly Ryan Gosling won’t be able to make it, but he’ll be there in spirit (because he’s amazing and he always is).

Bull and Beer Garden, a cool outdoor bar located in the Financial District, is starting a new event called Bark Hour. And because someone out there really loves us (and presumably you), it’s exactly what it sounds like — a happy hour dedicated to dogs.

Every Wednesday until September 28, Andaz Wall Street’s Bull and Beer will be allowing those looking for a drink with their four-legged drinking partners to stay a while. While owners chow down and throw back beverages, their dogs get to do the same, with doggie beer and doggie fro-yo. To make these nights even better, Bideawee, a New York animal shelter, will be bringing out dogs who are looking for a forever home.

So not only do you get to drink, eat and play with other people’s dogs, you also get the opportunity to bring one home yourself. Again, did we just find the entrance to heaven? Because it sure as hell sounds like it.
