New Texts Allege That Baylee Curran Wanted to Set Up Chris Brown Out of Revenge

Baylee Curran, the beauty queen who claimed that Chris Brown threatened her with a gun, allegedly wrote a text saying that she wanted to set him up out of revenge. Naturally, she denies sending the messages.

TMZ reportedly obtained a copy of the text message in question. It was sent to a male acquaintance named Safari on Tuesday at 2:57 A.M., shortly after Curran was kicked out of Brown’s home. The texts reads:

“Hey safari don’t you know this freak Chris brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend jewelry fake can you come get me my Uber is messing up if not I’m going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson I’m going to set his ass up. Lol come get me.”

Safari responded with, “Really that’s f*** up you ain’t going to do that your [sic] wrong if you do.”

The alleged message is now in the possession of Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos. He’s currently in the process of trying to authenticate it. But TMZ points out some interesting details from the message that don’t add up.

Here’s what’s interesting. She refers to an Uber “messing up.” We’ve learned the guy who picked her up from Chris’ house first called for a Lyft to pick her up but when the driver showed, she was hiding under a car, so the Lyft driver left. How would Safari know that?

On the other hand, there’s reason to doubt the text. We spoke with Safari, who says Baylee stole his Rolex last year and he hasn’t spoken with her since. Why would she text a guy she hasn’t spoken to in nearly a year and ask him to pick her up? He also would have a motive to lie since he accused her of stealing… something she denies.

Hmm… something sounds fishy, right? On top of that, her former roommate said Curran made up stories about people trying to kill her and even filed a restraining order against him stating that he threatened to hire a hitman to kill her. The case was eventually dropped.

Who do you believe? Sound off in the comments below. This story keeps getting weirder and weirder.
