Sophia Bush’s letter to a man “harassing” her on an airplane Friday epitomizes the infamous “You were thinking it,” “But you said it” White Chicks scene. Bush shared an open letter to the man on Twitter last week, expressing what many women have felt in similar situations, but never say out loud.
In the note, Bush provides him (and millions of other men in America) with clues on when to back off from a woman. Some of her “visual cues” included, “one word answers, she pulls out a book, she puts on a hat, she actually asks you to not speak to her with the tone and words you’re choosing to use, and she finally gets up and moves seats…” Yup, sounds about right.
The Chicago PD star continued with her lesson by saying, “…Stop believing that you are entitled to make me uncomfortable because you watch my tv show so I owe you some magical debt… you do not get to harass me or any other woman because you think you pay our bills. You don’t bro, I DO.”
Bush concluded the letter with, “Signed, Every Woman On The Planet Who Is Sick of Your Creepy S—t.”
Well, this is one PSA that will make you think twice about talking to your favorite celeb at an airport.
