When news broke that Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, the internet literally regurgitated Jennifer Aniston memes and reaction GIFs. In short: the majority of Twitter is definitely #TeamJen. We are too, so we totally get it.

Earlier today, TMZ reported that the couple, who’s only been married for two years but together for 12, were officially splitting. Despite cheating rumors, sources close to the couple say there was no “third person” involved in the split, but they do cite that Jolie was fed up with Pitt’s parenting skills. According to TMZ, Jolie was upset by the amount of weed he smoked and his “anger problem,” which left her feeling like their six kids were in danger.

Yikes. Divorces suck, but to many, this one was only a matter of time. There’s only two celebrity divorces that really shook our world: Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson, and Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt. We won’t lie, we feel for Jolie. She’s the mother of six children that she’s now going to have to raise on her own. But when you recall how Jolie and Pitt met — on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith while Pitt was still married to Aniston — we can’t help but remain #TeamJen.
