Jesse Williams Just Gave Us Another Reason to Vote

If you needed another reason to get out and vote, the Grey’s Anatomy dreamboat is calling us to action. In a new PSA for the Save the Day super PAC, Jesse Williams stresses how important it is to vote–and reminds us that our votes really do matter.

“This is not about the White House. This is about your house,” Williams states. “If you’re not registered to vote, you can’t sit on a jury. You can’t choose your mayor. You can’t choose your city council. You can’t even choose your district attorney. You can’t decide which measures will help your family and community, and which will put them at risk.”

The 35-year-old actor has used his influence in the past to speak about a variety of issues–most recently, he delivered a powerful speech about racial injustice at the BET Awards in June.

This  new “You Say Vote” video was produced by, a short-form digital production company that is “dedicated to the idea that voting is a necessary and heroic act…that every voice in this wonderfully diverse nation should, and must, be heard.”

Take a look at Williams’s inspiring video…like you needed an excuse to stare into those blue eyes.
