After weeks upon weeks of tantalizing fans with the release of a few singles here and there, Bon Iver has finally released the entirety of their new album, 22, A Million. This is the first album the band has released in five years, and while the tracks take an unexpected, even experimental turn, the emotional quality of the voices and music resonates with the uncertainty of the current moment.
Bon Iver first performed all of the songs from 22, A Million at bandleader Justin Vernon’s Eaux Claires music festival in August. Over the last few weeks, the band also teased the album with the release of three singles including, “22, (OVER S∞∞N),” “10 d E A T h b R E a s T ⚄ ⚄” and “33 ‘God.'” You can stream the full album below on both Spotify and Apple Music.
