The FBI Has Closed the Case on Brad Pitt… Because There Was No Case

The case is closed on Brad Pitt.

The Brangelina divorce is all anyone still seems to be talking about right now. Things really blew up when allegations surfaced that Brad Pitt had struck his 15-year-old son, Maddox, on a private jet.

Once the L.A. Count Department of Children and Family Services started investigating the incident the case was turned over to the L.A. Police Department and then the F.B.I., which has jurisdiction. But according to TMZ, the F.B.I. never opened an investigation, and sources say the matter should have never even been referred to the agency.

While the F.B.I.’s official stance is that they are continue to gather facts about that night, in which Maddox suffered no injuries, the source reveals that the case most likely won’t get very far, if anywhere. For now, Angelina Jolie has full physical custody of the couple’s six children.
