We’ve been rooting for Amber Rose since season 23 of Dancing With The Stars premiered, but all good things must come to an end, and last night Amber Rose was sadly eliminated despite performing her highest-scoring dance of the season.
She did an amazing Cha Cha with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy and we can’t believe things ended like this. Check it out:
UGH WHY?! After Rose got the boot, she posted an emotional goodbye message for her fans on Instagram, saying the duo’s time was “cut short.” We agree 100%.
“I’m so happy I had the chance to experience this with you!” she gushed in an Instagram post written last night. “You truly are my brother for life! Who knew we would become so close in such a short amount of time? Thank you for not giving up on me and getting to know the real me with no judgment I’ll love you forever for that reason and I’ll always have ur back through whatever.”
AW. The 32-year-old also said that she’d miss the couple’s “stressed out rehearsals more than anything” and signed the post with a catchy nickname: Amberony.
Chmerkovskiy posted the same photo to his own Instagram account with a similar message. Aside from calling their partnership “some of the best weeks of my [DWTS] career,” he also stated how proud he was of his partner.
“You’ve not let me down and only made me more and more proud each week. You’ve become a friend and an older sister (although you’re younger….you know what I mean :)), and this is definitely just the beginning of ‘Amber and Maks’. This experience got cut short and I wish we would have just a few more weeks, but it happened exactly as it were meant to and I have absolutely no regrets. The world has yet to see what you can really do and I can’t wait to be in your corner when it does,” he said.
Ugh we love them. Now we’re going to have to pick a new favorite. Who’s yours? Sound off in the comments below.
