Taylor Swift & ZAYN, aka Zayn Malik, just released the collaboration of our dreams. For the upcoming film, Fifty Shades Darker, Swift and Malik came together to record the track “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” for the movie’s soundtrack. It’s everything we didn’t know that we wanted. Check out a snippet of the song below in a post from Swift’s Instagram account.

The song was written by Swift, Sam Dew and frequent Swift collaborator Jack Antonoff. Antonoff even offered some insight into the making of the single on Twitter, saying that the song came together in only a week! He shared:

The collaboration came out of left field but everyone was still super into it. This is the first time the two singers have worked together and we’re pretty surprised about the collab. It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from Swift, with her latest album, 1989, being released way back in 2014. ZAYN released his latest album and first solo effort post-One Direction, Mind of Mine, earlier this year. The full album for Fifty Shades Darker is due to be released on February 10. That’s a long time to wait, but we’ll just keep T. Swift and ZAYN’s track on repeat until we can listen to the complete album.

Could there be more on the way from Malik and Swift? We definitely wouldn’t be opposed to it… Though Harry Styles might be.
