I still remember going to the movie theater to see The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants with my friends. I had read the book and was convinced my eighth grade pals were going to be my lifelong friends (lolz).
Of course Blake Lively’s flowing blonde locks stole the show, but the character of Bailey had more than one of my friends sobbing mid-film. The little girl meets Tibby Rollins (played by Amber Tamblyn in the movie) while the teen is working a summer job at a local store, and the two form a friendship. Before the season is over, Bailey dies from leukemia, breaking our hearts as well as Tibby’s.
But remember the girl who played Bailey? I wondered where the child star is now, and a quick look at her IMDB page shows that her name is Jenna Boyd – and she’s still in the acting game. In the decade (dang) since Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants hit theaters, she’s appeared on TV shows like The Gathering, Ghost Whisperer, and Criminal Minds. She recently completed a film called Nowhere, Michigan.
According to her Instagram page, she’s into pilates and also offers free skin consultations?!
