Looks like John Mayer is still bitter about his breakup with Taylor Swift. The 39-year-old douchey singer took a stab at the popstar on her 27th birthday in a spiteful tweet he deleted shortly after posting.
After countless fans, friends and family members wished Swift a happy birthday on social media, Mayer decided to throw in his own opinions about the day with the following tweet: “Tuesday, December 13 may be the lamest day of the year, conceptually.”

The two briefly dated in 2010, and their messy breakup spawned the hit “Dear John,” a song Mayer clearly has not forgiven her for. Aside from her birthday being December 13, Swift has also mentioned that 13 is her lucky number in previous interviews, making this dig quite the personal attack.
“The significance of the number 13 on my hand… I paint this on my hand before every show because 13 is my lucky number; for a lot of reasons,” she explained in 2009. “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first number one song had a 13-second intro.”
It’s also a number Mayer apparently hates with a passion. Swifties (and anyone who has eyes) have already called him out for being the worst.
