It’s been a rough week for mega girl group Fifth Harmony, with Camila Cabello announcing her official departure from the band yesterday. In an emotional letter to fans, Cabello said that despite their Jingle Ball performance just a few hours prior, she is no longer part of Fifth Harmony. Several band members claimed that her departure was sudden, but Cabello claims that the rest of the group knew her plans to leave well before she announced it to the public.

“The girls were aware of my feelings through the long, much needed conversations about the future that we had,” Camilla said. Check out the full letter:

Clearly Cabello was unhappy, and based on a new audio rant that leaked late yesterday, she had a right to be; things have been pretty bad for a while. Just a few hours after Cabello announced she was leaving the group, a leaked audio recording of Lauren Jauregui ranting about how horrible management is surfaced online.

“They’re making decisions on a regular basis to f*** us over! To make us literal slaves! Literally slaves, Ally,” the female voice exclaims to a person believed to be 5H bandmate Ally Hernandez. “We’re doing f***ing labor every day and we see nothing!”

“I know, I know,” the person named Ally responds. When the audio was recorded remains unknown and neither Lauren, Ally or fellow Fifth Harmony members Dinah Hansen and Normani Kordei have commented about what was said in the alleged leak.

Yikes. We hope for their sake that this isn’t legit.
