Since the show premiered in 2002, Chris is the most consistent part (as well as the red roses and endless drama). He’s hosted every season, including its spin-offs Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Pad. But how much does saying, “This is the final rose of the evening” earn a guy exactly?
Chris Harrison Net Worth 2018: $15 million
Not a bad gig, huh? Find out exactly how Chris Harrison earned his millions below.
1993 – 1999
Chris started his onscreen career as a sports reporter at a CBS affiliate in Oklahoma City. He also worked briefly for TVG Network, a horse racing channel, and was the host of Designers’ Challenge on HGTV.
2000 – 2014
In the 2000s, Chris landed the hosting gig of a lifetime: The Bachelor. As the show expanded into spin-offs, he was along for the ride, becoming the familiar face that appeared on The Bachelorette, Bachelor Pad (2010 to 2012), Bachelor in Paradise (2014 to present), specials (such as contestants’ weddings), and some of the after shows for these programs.
According to The Richest, Chris raked in a whooping $60,000 per episode in the franchise in 2015, adding up to a cool $1.5 million per year.
When he’s not helping tease the “shocking drama” on The Bachelor, Chris may be using his hosting skills elsewhere. He helmed several awards shows and other competitions, including several Miss America pageants, the Emmys red carpet, the American Music Awards pre-show, and more.
In addition to his hosting duties, Chris also showed his acting chops. He guest starred in roles on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Hot in Cleveland, and others.
2015 – 2016
In 2015, Chris added another gig to his resume, taking the hosting spot on Who Wants to be a Millionaire? In addition to all his Bachelor duties, he’s a busy guy!
Chris Harrison showed up to let all the ladies know there would be no date in LA, in ‘The Bachelor.’
