Our favorite cookie has turned into a food group staple thanks to creative minds around the country, but its most recent transformation hails from Veil Brewing Company. In an effort to try something a bit different, workers decided to take the delicious cookie and turn it into beer.
Yeah… we don’t know how to feel about it either, but it does involve two of our favorite things (Oreos and alcohol) so we have our fingers crossed. According to their Instagram, the company took their “7% robust chocolate milk stout Hornswoggler and conditioned it on hundreds of pounds of Oreo cookies.”
Buyers say the experiment was a success.
“An hour wait for these, but it’s mad worth it,” wrote Instagram user @beer_rawn, while @dominicbascone called the Oreo beer, “nuts in the best possible way.” Honestly, we remain skeptical, but apparently we’re the only ones. The four-packs sold out within one day due to overwhelming popularity, but the company says they have “a decent amount on draft.”
