A McDonald’s ATM That Dispenses Big Macs Has Arrived

Welcome to the best thing to happen to 2017: a McDonald’s ATM that dispenses Big Macs instead of cash. In the wise words of Melissa Gorga,

According to the Boston Globe, a Big Mac ATM will be at the Commonwealth Avenue restaurant on Jan. 31 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and they’ve got photos to prove it. Finally, the future is starting to look bright again. Feast your eyes on the ATM of the future:

BRILLIANT! Unlike an actual ATM, you don’t need to insert cash to get a sweet, juicy burger in return. Instead, visitors are required to type in their Twitter handle on the touchscreen in the front of the machine. From there, a message that reads, “Check out the new Big Mac,” will be tweeted out from your account. Afterwards, you’ll get a free Big Mac (either a Mac Jr. or a Grand Mac, both of which are new sizes offered by the fast food franchise) dispensed to you from the machine. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal for a free burger.

“It’s really just a fun way to be modern and progressive,” said Vince Spadea, a McDonald’s franchise owner. “I think we’ll have lines out the door.”

We’ve seen the future and it’s pretty freakin’ great, contrary to what’s going on in the world right now. If anyone needs us, we’ll be in Boston tomorrow.
