Miss Kentucky USA Finalist Set Her Roommate’s Bed On Fire After An Argument

Fighting with your roommate is terrible, but have you ever gotten so angry you wanted to light their bed on fire? For most of us, the obvious answer to that question is “yes, but I would never do it.” For Christen McAllister, a Miss Kentucky USA finalist and University of Louisville student, the answer is just plain “yes.”

The 22-year-old beauty queen was charged with one count of arson this week after she set her roommate’s bed on fire post-argument. According to Wave3.com, firefighters were called to an off-campus housing community near UofL’s Belknap campus on February 18. The fire reportedly started at 12:15 A.M. while two of McAllister’s roommates were home.

Luckily no injuries were reported, but McAllister did admit to police that she started the fire.

Aside from finishing in fifth place in the Miss Kentucky USA pageant this month, McAllister is also a member of Sigma Kappa and studies marketing. Hopefully she gets a new roommate ASAP… for the other girl’s sake.
