‘Bachelor’ Finale Is Supposedly ‘Historic’ & We Have A Theory As To Why

Next week is The Bachelor finale, and Nick Viall has to pick between Vanessa Grimaldi and Raven Gates. But on Wednesday E! released an exclusive first look at the March 13 episode, where producers promised a “Bachelor first” during After The Final Rose.

“I’ve been here before,” Bachelor Nick Viall said in the promo. “Both Andi and Kaitlyn broke my heart. My biggest fear is that that will happen again. I’m just torn up inside. It’s the worst feeling I’ve ever felt before.”

As if that didn’t already have us guessing, Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss also took to Twitter to ensure fans that the franchise would be making history again. The first time he made the statement this year, Rachel Lindsay was announced as the first black Bachelorette.

“Monday’s live season finale is going to be historic!!!” Fleiss wrote. “Believe me…”

Our initial instinct was that the show ends with Viall choosing no one, but according to Us Weekly, he does propose to one of the remaining women and she does say yes. According to Refinery29, this is confirmed when Viall reportedly tells the runner-up that he’s been “selfish.” So WTF could it be? We turned to Twitter for some theories.

One person has her fingers crossed it’s a pregnancy announcement. Honestly, that would be kind of great. Could Raven not only have her first orgasm, but also her first child?

Another guessed a live wedding. Another theory we can get behind.

Our personal favorite response was that Nick Viall actually finds love on the show. LOL.

We’re siding with Nick Viall choosing himself rather than the women, but we don’t know for sure. What we do know is that we can’t wait to find out WTF Mike Fleiss is talking about. What’s your theory? Sound off in the comments below.
