If you thought that Keeping Up with the Kardashians wasn’t enough, then you’re in luck. We might be seeing an animated television series featuring Kim, Khloe, Kylie and the rest of the family. Is this not shocking from the family that completely dominates the E! Network? Well, this spin-off will be a cartoon. Wait… Does that mean Kanye might be animated, too?
Don’t let the typical animated demographic fool you, though. Sources from TMZ reveal that it won’t be kid friendly since it’s a “primetime pitch,” so make sure to get your parental controls ready.
According to TMZ, Kris Jenner recently pitched the idea to Harvey Weinstein’s production company this month. I’m starting to wonder how that went, especially when considering that the KUWTK ratings and viewership are plummeting. TMZ also stated that “the ‘the entire family’ will be featured… We’re told it will not include Caitlyn.” Bummer.
What I really want to know is what this cartoon could possibly cover. We’ve already got a ton of family drama and hilarious arguments in KUWTK. Even when Kim finally divulged the details of the Paris robbery, only 1.58 million people tuned in to watch, according to Forbes. If this new cartoon show is a way to save their ratings, hopefully it can deliver.
