This Couple’s 68th Anniversary Photo Shoot Is The Definition Of #RelationshipGoals

Ollie and Donald King have a truly everlasting love.

The couple, married 68 years, still look at each other with the same admiration they did at their wedding. Ollie, 83, and Donald, 87, decided to poseĀ for an intimate photo shoot on their Lincoln County, Kentucky farm, which is where they’ve lived for the past 30 years.

The photo shoot has received over 25,000 likes on the Love What Matters Facebook page. The photographer, Paige Franklin, commented, “There have been times in my career that I sat back after a session and thought ‘WOW, I really love my job.’ This was one of those nights. I asked him to tell me the one thing he was most proud of her for (It’s a little trick I do in couple sessions) and he looked at me for a minute and looked at her, and he said, ‘There really isn’t just one thing. She’s just amazing all around.'”

The couple farms cattle and grows corn, soybeans and tobacco. They have three children and five grandchildren and as happy as ever. Franklin continues, “I hope and pray that my marriage lasts through time like theirs has.” She also called the couple “two of the most kind-hearted souls.”

Donald, a retired pastor, told Franklin the secret to their successful marriage, which she then revealed to the Huffington Post. “He told me he and Ollie had never spent a night apart from one another,” she said. “He explained that they never preferred anyone over the other, and that the Lord has spared them to live this long to love each other.”

It’s clear from the photographs that Ollie and Donald are still just as much in love now as they were almost seven decades go. The couple holds each otherĀ and stares lovingly into each other’s eyes as they sit on a quilt that Ollie sewed “many years ago.”

Just a friendly reminder that true love does exist. Happily ever after, Donald and Ollie. Congrats on your anniversary!
