Got a cow costume and a couple hours to spare? Well, it’s time to head down to Chick-fil-A.
For today, July 11 only, the restaurant is offering a free meal to anyone who comes dressed as a cow or has some sort of cow accessory on.
This is part of their 13th annual Cow Appreciation Day, which began when the company launched their new campaign “eat mor chikin,” featuring primarily cows.
If you are interested and want to know the exact details, a press release from the company stated:
“Adult customers who dress in any time of cow attire, whether it’s ‘head-to-hoof’ or sporting a cow-spotted accessory, will be rewarded with a free Chick-fil-A entrée, such as an Original Chicken Sandwich, seasonal Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich or breakfast favorite, the Egg White Grill. Children will recieve a free Kid’s Meal for dressing in a cow costume.”
#CowAppreciationDay is currently trending on Twitter, but users don’t seem to be fully understanding the point of the hashtag.
Some are using the occasion to throw shade at political figures.

Not too much talk about Chick-fil-A, though.
With only a few hours left until the end of the promotion, grab your best cow outfit and make your way to your closest Chick-fil-A.
